Swipe-compare AquaMaps (global suitability, native 0.5°) against the NOAA SEFSC Gulf-of-Mexico SDM (survey-based density, 0.05°, averaged across months) for a Gulf cetacean or sea turtle. Drag the round handle left/right. Both surfaces are rescaled to a common 0–100 and served from titiler as Cloud-Optimized GeoTIFFs.

AquaMaps predicts broad suitability across (and beyond) the Gulf; the SEFSC model resolves fine density structure from line-transect surveys within the Gulf of Mexico.
